Well, all you romantics take note. When you pay a compliment to a love interest, particularly a female, do not assume that adding “for a woman” will be appreciated. I can assure you it won’t be. For example….”You’re pretty smart” is, apparently, much better than “You’re pretty smart, for a woman”. Also, your HR department may get involved.
